Sturdy and helpful. It rolls easily into place. It locks in place well.
This is a great step stool for the pantry. Perfect for my husband as he peruses the upper pantry! Best used on wood or tile floors.
Wheels are spring loaded to retract when you step on the stool. Because it has rollers, it really helps me without lugging around a step stool. It also is a convenient impromptu seat when needed as an extra seat.
Cons
One caster wheel seems to be stiff and sticking. What is the point of wheels if you have to pick it up to move it? Too expensive for the cheap quality.

Heres the deal the reason that the stool can be kickedaround that is moving it short distances with the toe of ones shoe is that there are three springloaded casters on the bottom that stick out just enough so that with no additional weight on the stool the stool is raised eversoslightly above the floor push on the stool with your shoe and it will roll on hard floors and shortpile carpets

Put just a little weight on the stool and the springs that push the casters out compress slightly and the periphery of the stool sits on the floor so that it doesnt roll
