I have 2 wide-open sides going down my basement steps leading to my daycare. I have an 18 month old that easily fits in between the stair columns and this definitely helps! Put it on our stairs a couple months ago.

Child proofing is a must. I need it a little more secure since my very small pups are able to go under it. Needed to protect my blind dog from slipping thru bannister and falling down stairs.

Cons

Tie them good my baby kept trying to move it however the box came with plenty of extra string to secure in place

We took the nets down and put them in their box and left for future renters who could use them if they wanted to
