This monitor corresponds to what i was expecting. Fabulous size of screen and easy to set up. The package is good but far from being as exciting to open as an apple device.

Either the image is weirdly spread across the screen option wide or it is surrounded by two big black bars option by default
Pc on 1 input and freeview on 1 inputthe inbuilt speaker sound very good for inbuilt speakers

Delivery on time in the morning of the day after ordering
Competitiveness
Also worked well with intel hd2000 on an i72600 again with displayport cable
Saving now for the 3434 version which would be even better

I was on the verge of returning it when i found a review suggesting a thunderbolt to displayport not hdmi was to be used

It seems that hdmi does not support the hdr or 219 resolution

From the amount of work i have to do using upto 2 pcs and a notebook and lots of documents my current monitor which is still ok wasnt cutting it

I was considering a ultrawide monitor but from looking around and reading reviews i decided to go with the samsung ls29e790c
