You have to clean and decale it every 6 months

We didnt clean and descale the first year so no i sprung for a 3m water filter that will hopefully slow down the scaling

This ice maker works just as i hoped it would the ice is sonic ice it starts to produce ice within minutes of starting up and quickly fills the bin
