I bought these after my two year old had a couple of splinters i had to remove regular tweezers and tiny splinters werent very easy to remove them

Used tweezers for removing ticks mostly which are bad in our area new england

The large pair are perfect the smaller pair are not as useable becaue the opening is pre determined and cannot be opened enough to use

Last year there we so many ticks and i didnt have tweezers to use so i ended up pulling them off my dog

Tweezer ends are pointy and not flat but i have always been able to get a splinter out with them
