Pros & Cons

Pros

Great mic, does exactly what it is meant to do. Won't degrade and wear out like a crystal either. Is being promoted along with shure's other classic mikes, and rightfully so.

The tone is great. The sound is very good. The thing is sturdy as a brick.

This microphone sounds great. Totally recommend. Won't regret.

Every harp sounds better behind this mic. This mic provides me the loudest, gainiest, dirtiest, ampiest sound for my harps.

Cons

It's way too big and heavy to play for any length of time and make the cupping moves that give your playing its tonal range and texture. The joke is on whomever thinks this is a cool mic.

A little pricey but it sounds great and is pretty comfortable to hold with a harmonica

You wont find better for the money

As it’s priced higher than either seems to me there should be one
