They would fall off the pie shell and did not brown evenly

Until now i have had to cut thin strips of foil which is a hassle and crimp them together to make a long thin strip and then attempt to fold it over the edges of the pie crust in order to keep the crust from overbrowning or burning

Turns out it was just coiled twice around so the length was actually double of what it looked like

My only gripe is i wish it were longer because i use a fancy pie plate and my crust radius is larger than usual and this only just barely covers the whole crust

It helps me to produce beautiful pie crusts especially around the outer edges
