I overlooked the part that said it only charges while it’s currently in the sun

If you plug this in and its charging then the sun goes down it will stop charging when there is not enough power coming from the solar cells and your phone if not shut off will begin to drain battery

In some cases when light gets low you may get a warning on your phone that says something to the effect of use a standard cord to get optimal charging

Also your results will be dependent on how much sun you can get the solar panels to capture so this device can get different results depending on where you are what time of year it is and what kind of device you are charging

It should be noted the solar charger comes with a charging micro usb cord that fit my android device
