    After being prescribed statin meds for my creeping cholesterol problem and not liking them because 1 my muscles killed me when skiing and 2 i couldnt eat fresh grapefruit i cheated my doctor after web research where i found numerous successful studies showing polycosanol lowered cholesterol dramatically

    I instead took 10 mg polycosanol and 65 mg coq10 daily for three months instead of the statin he prescribed which said no grapefruit at the same time i had a refrigerator full of it

    Two important things to add 1 it must be made from sugar cane as this one is or it doesnt work for me and 2 im now cutting the tablets in half because 10mg daily causes my blood to thin so much that i can bleed too easily from nosebleeds or from scratching small scabs
