Pros

It is compact but by no means inappropriately so and a close examination indicates it is well made and no cheap piece of rubbish.

The odd rectangular shape is very ergonomic. Usually clip it to shoulder harness and rotate head down to light knee board and charts. Rescue mode strobe is useful.

This is my backup for when my rechargable light runs out of juice, but it's a great backup. Sliding diffusor works very well for omni-directional illumination. The beam is useful and more than adequate for all but the most long-distance uses.

Cons

This one is very disappointing. The strobe is a pain to get it to work. The ir light is useless.
