Just have to remove the aaa battery pack when not using for long periods like any other conventional battery operated device so the batteries dont leak and ruin the light

Only problem is that the battery cap is hard to get aligned to screw back on and if it isnt on correctly then the cap will crack at the threads when tightened

Customer service did supply new caps at no expense so it must be a common problem
