Pros & Cons
Pros
The brightness is just as strong as i expected as well. It is not the brightest, but 350 lumens is more than sufficient. Max brightness is more comparable to what surefire advertises as 500 lumen.
This is perfect for my home protection and plinking needs. It works well as a personal defense strobe when needed. Excellent service by seller.
O-light's awful reputation, this light is a no-brainer for the $100-ish price point. Trust my life to these lights in my edc group. The lights have great “throw” and makes pid achievable out to at least 100yards.
The tape switch is pretty sturdy. The constant activation button has a helpful shield around it.
Streamlight 1l- aa is the most versatile one as survival gear. You can use aa and aaa alkaline and non-rechargeable lithium batteries as well without any adopter sleeve.
Cons
Amazon repackaged this item and sold it as new. Received a fake streamlight 88059 pro tac rail mount. I wasn't that impressed with the first polytac i ever used.
Highlights
Quality
This is a sturdy well built flashlight that is very bright
Great kit works perfectly and super bright and lasts along time
Because of the positioning holes to mount the light on the handguard the light head doesnt get forward enough an the light cast... Read More
This is annoying and it can so easily be fixed in the design
Price
For the price and versatility of this flashlight there should be one in everyones kit or pocket
Otoh it also costs about 4 times what the ultrafire cost
Its very much like surefire products for half the cost
Also not the kind of person who can justify 100 for a worklight so while this is still to me expensive i think its affordable and worth it
Packaging/appearance
It does not come with a hand lanyard which my fenix ld22 did
Competitiveness
If you want 34almost as good34 and a much more economical light get the ultrafire
This is a much better price value than others ive bought
The aa carried a full charge but the cr123a a streetlight brand battery was less than 3 volts
With other brands the light might be slightly better and the mount might be cleaner but you are going to pay double or triple the price
