I think the vibration of the oven when it cooks possibly could have shaken the handle loose and thus caused the machine to go off on its own

Finally the 2002 just gave out on me entirely

With this 2000 model i think the triggering mechanism to turn the machine on is more prominent and thus it knows better when to be on
