The adjustable strap is perfect for comfort, and it zips up and open quickly. The velcro on the outer flap is a noisy on opening, but it does hold well.
Where the vinyl case rapidly looks ragged and beaten up, this case still looks pristine and new. Won't be needing to buy a new one soon.

I bought this when i bought my widescreen 14 inch notebook and althugh the computer stretches out the internal square for the computer it would work even better on non widescreen formats

The lid part of the main compartment if you unzip it all the way which i rarely do but it occurs to me to try this the next time i go through security and just leave the laptop in the padded bag ill bet it actually does follow the security rules
