Pros & Cons
Pros
Solid state is the way to go, even for the retro stuff! Especially for retro stuff.
Cons
Cf133 and other consumer grade models no longer have the ability to work as a fixed disk as of early 2011. These cards, once the go-to name for bootable cfs, are now worthless for many microcomputing projects. Buy a different brand.
The card is extremely slow for fullformatting and transfer. Within 90 days of purchase, the card could not be read in my card reader under either xp or os x. Although it is written 32 gb on card the size of it is 8 gb.

The way cf cards and ata hard drives work requires the manufacturer to burn them as bootable and these arent so they cant be used to replace the c drive of old computers only accessory storage drives
