They have a control on the cord that will mute or volume control with a couple of nice little green leds and the buttons can even activate the mic i think although i cant work out how yet

Im not great at distinguishing professional audio quality but it does not sound thin or tinny and theres no hiss

Unfortunately the microphone did not sync well to my dragon naturally speaking software and turned my speech to text into gibberish
