If i pushed hard enough i was able to so a few basic functions with my phone but i wouldnt be able to text or dial a number

As far as warmth go these are very thin

The grip on them is excellent though so i am assuming that they are more designed for holding on to a bike

I would not recommend them if you are looking for something to keep your hands warm or to use with a touch pad device

They also dont fit very well due to the big seams

I dont want them any smaller because the seams would dig in and i have room at the end of my fingers which makes them rather awkward especially for using my touch screen on my phone
