However as with any tinaluminum item i assume the only way to prevent rust from building up on the lids would be to hand wash and immediately towel dry the lids
I haven’t bothered using the lids or straws yet as i’ve consumed my beverages directly from the mason jars so i can’t complain about the rusty lids that other reviewers have commented about
