And i don’t mean to be a smarty pants but the people giving poor reviews because their cast iron pans rusted really should just eat out more often

If you’ve never owned cast iron pans before do yourself a favor and search the web for videos on seasoning cast iron

It does hold the heat in but you feel that heat when you touch it and will still require an oven mitt for protection
