Its been over 6 months since we replaced the valve

Then just firmly insert the tube into the new valve and it catches and locks instantly

Albeit if you remove the water lines from the new valve and reinstall them they might leak and you will have to replace the valve again

This was not an exact fit for the model for my frig

However it did work i had to change the route of the hoses and there was enough slack in the wires to swap to the other side i also had to move the inlet fitting down the good part was the fittings are the pushin type not a bad trade out
