The light bulb in our 1994vintage whirlpool range had burnt out and i mangled the original light socket trying to get the bulb out so i located the light socket on amazon plus a youtube video that explained how to replace the socket

They dont seem to make these appliances easy to work on getting the old socket out took some doing but when i pressed this new socket into place connected the terminals replaced the back panels on the range put some dielectric grease on the threads of the light bulb and put it in the socket it worked great
