Pros
This easily keeps a large single rom cold. It pumps out the cold air and does it quick. Connected the exhaust duct and still no noise.
Whynter was packed shabbily. Heavy but rollers make it easy to navigate. Possible 2. Whytner and lg show.
With that caveat, here are my impressions. It is a blessing to have this. I also feel like the air quality has improved tremendously for me as well.
The positive, 3 year warranty, no extra cost to extend like lg portable or wall unit. This is a single-hose unit, which makes set-up a bit easier than a dual-hose unit.
I stacked it atop the panels that come with the unit, and huzzah, it works great. The insert into the window fits better. It has clips to attach it to the window panel and to the unit itself.
Cons
No perceivable customer service from this company. It emits a weird smell when the fan is running without the compressor. And they're very cheaply made.
The return process by amazon is painless, other than the repackaging. Gave up and bought a different one at home depo.

I plugged the unit in this past may 2023 no cold air was coming out of the vent and no warm air was coming out of the exhaust hose

He asked me to do a little trouble shooting with the unit he came to the conclusion it was possibly the compressor which was still under its 3 year warranty and he asked me to send the unit to the whynter address provided in the email
