Works flawlessly i bought some other vga to hdmi from amazon for a cheaper price but it didnt work this one has a big head while the other one didnt so try and get the ones with the big head since they probably have better curcuitery

Thing is is that hdmi channels audio and vga dont so the pc channels the audio out hdmi and it dosent play andthing

If u using win go into devices and disable the monitor audio and audio will play out pc

Then the reason i went with this adapter against other adapters offered in amazon is that it doesnt require an extra input for power and i dont really need the audio output only image
