Pros
High speed is as loud as my previous down draft exhaust but far more efficient. The suction is very strong.
The drip catch under the fan will keep the light bar clean. The lights are not too bright or too dim. Directional led lights are a bonus.
It is very well built and arrived well packaged. Plugged it in everything works.
The unit comes with an expandable plastic vent pipe to go inside the stainless steel sleeve. This places the vent 33 above the counter top or burner. Attaching the hood to the mounting brackets will take two people and ideally three.
These things truly are the focal point & centerpiece of the island range area. It’s profile is slight, making it a great choice if you want to keep visual interruption at a minimum. Very beautiful, not unacceptable.
Cons
Fan is loud and noisy. Mounting system is flimsy and does not have a solid feel. Performs poorly and not recommended.

Shipping was fast and although it is not exactly the same as the pic it is great
Living in ak i was concerned the shipping would be too expensive and the possibility of this heavy item being damaged concerned me

What i am not happy with is the short kit which is a shorter version of the chimney for ceilings less than 8 h which i bought through the company that manufactures this

At a glance it seemed that the shorter chimney was exactly the same but shorter when in fact the dimensions were just enough smaller that it turned what should have been a 45 min install into a 4

Unfortunately due to all the rigorous energy it took to get the parts to slide together the connection where the chimney and flue meet got loosened and cant be tightened
