Zinus is mattress is so easy to install especially if your space is limited to maneuver to get to it. We bought the 12 mattress it is infused with tea tree oil, it's a calming and cooling mattress. Omg, it is sooooo comfortable.
Zinus has a whole group of girlfriends who are huge fans. I'm also reassured by the 10 year warranty. She sleeps so much better on this than a toddler mattress. This is his first real bed and he sleeps very well on it.
It's entirely foam so it molds to weight easily but not in a cloud way. The only con is that being only 6 thick it is possible to occasionally feel the base with your knee or elbow when getting in or out of bed, not when sleeping. I slept very well on... Read More
Cons
The main issue i've encountered is that the bed has become incredibly hard. My husband is a veteran with a bad back and knee from his job in the service and this mattress is awful for him. Do yourself a favor and do not buy the mattress.
I always buy zinus brand, but this time it is a disaster. It's a big risk to spend the money on this without the option to return and now i'll have to pay to dispose of it.

I think anything less than a 1034 wouldnt work for our preteen but honestly you cant go wrong here
