Packaging/appearance
Haven't used it yet, but looks way better than the old foreman it replaced.
The panini side of the plates has grooves as shown in the product image.
Competitiveness
So my family really like this product and is much better than all george forman products on the marketplace period.
I looked at a lot of similar products, the cuisinart 4-in-1 grill/griddle and panini press is one of the better built units.
None have performed as good as this cuisinart griddler.
I saw a lot of other brand units broken on the shelf's, but i never saw a broken cuisinart on a shelf.

Its an over all great product i love that you can take the grill plates off to wash them too thats what sold me on this product and the place to drain goes towred the back so the greas drainer bowl is on the bottom sticking out and you just slide it out to empty it

I purchased it for my mother in law but 2 days later her kitchen was on fire and unfortunately the product was no longer useable

It cooks food quickly and does a reasonable approximation of real grill taste for lean meats as does any press grill
