Longevity is always my concern but looks well made compared to other grinders at the same price point! It's sleek and sturdy. No funky plastic smell.
The max line holds about 3 overflowing tablespoons of beans. You basically just plug it in, load the beans, twist the cannister until it locks, and push down with one hand.

This grinder is the most over-engineered piece of junk. Looks good on the counter, but now it's just a paperweight. This is not due to any outlets or electrical problems.
Compared to other brands, this hamilton beach grinder performs amazing and at a lower volume during operation. I like that the cord wraps around the base and hides inside. This hamilton beach is inexpensive and makes my days more pleasant.
It's by far the quietest grinder i've ever seen. The blades are powerful and the lid cover manages the noise very well. The blade is not removable, but it is not bad to maneuver around.
The cord materials wasn't designed to handle daily use/wrapping. Over repeated use, that causes a crack in the rubber plastic that protects the wiring. Hb refuses all warranty claims unless item is bought directly from hamilton beach.
They’re all probably roughly the same, but this one is junk, at least the one they mailed me.
Some mechanism inside the machine seems misaligned. Also, the powder gets into the edge of grinder and it is hard to clean. When you start the grinder, you’ll get a flash and a loud the machine is now dead.
