The art is find but the layout of the book leaves a lot to be desired. There are zero full-page spreads in this book. I strongly recommend the nier automata world guides.

Figures from life is full color and glossy and has both detail of anatomy and step by step walk troughs of sketches. There’s wonderful anatomy breakdowns, excellent coverage of the importance of line weight, and information on the materials.
