The ball sinks back so far with weight that the plastic surround nearly touches the opposite surface. Immediately popped them off and started a return. Really cheaply made. Be prepared to get frustrated trying to peel off the backing.
The wheels are sturdy and the lock is great and the miter saw does not move. And the brake pedals are metal which is rare enough in general, much less at this price point. Used them for my portable home work bench with built in saw.
The wheels are easy to install and include everything needed to install with two options for either wood screws or nuts and bolts. Included bolt and nut as well as wood screw hardware.
These are much sturdier than i imagined they would be. They lock and unlock easily too! Just about all my heavy equipment is on casters with top mounted locks so i can move it for cleaning or repositioning for a specific project.
The brake drags against the wheel on 3 out of 4 casters. They are made with cheap parts and are below average at best.
