When i called the local plumbing supply for a replacement gasket they told me the eljer is too old to have parts for and hung up

I was about to call a plumber because the toilet was leaking then i took it apart and checked on the seal etc and it was the wrong one that was installed a few years ago and somehow held it together by the grace of goduntil it didnt

Then i decided to look at the toilet manufacturer and saw the one suggested to do the job

The one that was currently in place was the original and was leaking

The included bolts were steel so i discarded them and bought ss bolts nuts and washers
