The wife is definitely pleased these are wicked flat. Works as it should but it isn't heavy duty. Good fit for intended purpose of securing * cloth in rocky soil with spikes.
These are stainless steel and do what they're suppose to. It’s a stainless steel washer. Checked all the boxes for me.

As far as i can tell youre supposed to put a washer around a screwtype fastener in order to distribute the force that would normally be concentrated around the head of the fastener

I dont want the screw head pulling through the thin metal when i drop a big hose on that thing so i put a washer over it
