Pros
The rj45 socket is nice and tight as it should be, ensuring a very good connection. Averaging 950+ mbps down and up on my internet so no issues. Could not have been easier to plug and play.

Bought 4 of these for unifi switches (us-24 and us-24-250w) installed on ubiquiti 24 port poe switch. Connected udm pro to usw-16-poe. Works great on mu ubiquiti 24 port.
Cons
These modules have some connector issues where the rj45 male connectors do not always click into the female receptacle on the module. Tried it in a few ports dead sfp. Not able to operate in either a mikrotik crs309 or a mellanox connectx-3 nic.
Gtek does not manufacture anything that is 10/100/1000. The title of this device needs to be changed. Bought a 2 pack 1000 base t sfp transceiver.

Price
The price for a netgear agm734 is ridiculous for use, little alone just testing, but the price for a 10gtek is worthwhile.
Competitiveness
Works just fine with a ubiquiti poe switch and a tp-link layer3 switch at the other end.
Bought it to connect a tp-link 10gbe-only switch to the rest of a gigabit network.
Used with zyxel usg flex 200 (usg60 v2) for additional wan port (failover).
I have an older 16 port poe ubiquiti switch.

Theres no official information about netgears own agm734 being compatible with the gs724tv4 and a variety of other netgear switches except for a post on netgears forum if that can be considered official so i was a little hesitant buying an agm734 clone

The real netgear sfp is over 120 which is stupid for a switch that cost under 350 so it would cost me almost 300 to add 2 netgear sfps
