Easy to install, found a great test script and got the demo working in just 10min with a couple mods to the system. Vendor provides a link to some demo software.

By default, the display uses 4-pin spi mode plus two gpio pins while the keys/joystick are connected to gpio pins.

Python code runs super slow suggesting using the bcm2835 example code in c its certainly fast enough for what i needed

Apparently it used to be supported by a module called fbtft device but that module no longer exists so you have to program it via the spi interface

The directions also dont quite cover where to find i2c settings if you have a newer pi

I havent used any of the programmable buttons or joystick so i dont know how well they work but i have no need for them

The screen is very useful for your small project i got the 128x128 pixel color varian but it doesnt work on my pitrezor project its not supported

Like many lowcost import products the documentation is sparse and the drivers need minor fiddling to make them work
