Accurate Cutting
Customers are highly satisfied with the accurate cutting ability of this forstner bit. They praise its ease of use in both handheld power drills and desk top drill presses, and note that it leaves smooth surfaces for mounting door pulls or other applications. Some customers have used it for fine woodworking projects such as inlays and toy making. A few mention that while they paid more upfront, the quality of these bits is worth it as they are not cheap, disposable Chinese-made alternatives.
Highlights
Quality
These are the best bits of you want an accurate hole and stays sharp a long time.
The cuts are very accurate and the bit is easy to use in both a hand held power drill and a desk top drill press.
These are disposable bits, to small to resharpen so they are really throw away tools.
It ripped right through an inch poplar board like a knife through butter.
Price
Diablo puts out good products at a reasonable price.
Yes, its more expensive but you get what you pay for.
Packaging/appearance
It came as a freud bit in diablo packaging and cut great.
Seller product labels placed directly on product case.
Competitiveness
Was pleasantly surprised to see it was a freud as the freud branded one was a few bucks more and i only needed it for one project.
