Pros

This kit contains everything needed to brew 1 gallon of beer, except the bottles. Received the glass little big mouth bubbler and contents to make the ipa.

Easy to follow instructions and a dvds guide. The process is pretty forgiving as well. The instructions are well detailed and easy to follow. We used both the provided written instructions as well as their youtube video to work through the steps.

The price is awesome for anyone who is unsure whether they want to try their hand at brewing or not. Not new to home brewing but downsizing since time away from hobby and moving into an apartment low on space. This is a purchase you will not regret!

Cons

The kit includes a pack of fizz drops which are not mentioned anywhere in the instructions. In the description it says neglects to inform you that it takes a month to brew.

Just tighten spigot little bit and broken the jar instantly and lost all the beer. Multiple parts inside came opened and damaged. Over half of the small batch grain blend had spilled out.

This kit is very easy to use for the first timer good detailed instructions

We were very impressed with the quality of the equipment and ingredients, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow.

After a week the bubbling had completely stopped the foam subsided.

It started bubbling the 2nd day and a large foam formed on top of the liquid.

Price

In the future i'll still use the 1 gallon fermenter since i live in a small house and price for addtional brew kits is good.

Shipping

I purchased this on december 15th and when it arrived the yeast was already expired as of november 2020.

I went with amazon because of the speed of shipping over northern brewing.

Good customer service—my unit arrived broken and they got back to me within a few hours when i asked for a replacement.

I gave this as a christmas gift to my brother in law, he opened the box and could not have been more excited!
