What i find to be a minor problem is that the casting is blocked off inside, not on the outside surface of the box.

The box is soft aluminum so i simply drove a 1032 grounding bolt into the hole

If i need that there are other extension boxes that have 4 or more threaded points

It wasnt difficult to seal the thin edge against the outer surface of the house however using silicone

When i consider these however the fact that i can purchase 3 of these for the cost of a single extension box from some of the other manufacturers more than assuages my annoyance
