I have one in my septum, nostril, cartilage, tragus & lobes and they all work wonderfully. Even worse them in the shower and no rusting whatsoever.
Don't irritate my pierced ears at all. I'm allergic to nickel, have sensitive skin prone to eczema and can confirm these haven't caused me any skin reactions.
It's a seamless hoop once it's in the piercing, there's no bumps or clasps that are uncomfortable. Very comfortable to leave in 24/7. It’s seamless after you snap it together.
Cons
The whole operation is so miniscule that you can hardly see the hole in the closing side. The latch isn't at all secure. Sharp edges and hurt too much to do.
Not even visibly bent but there is no wiggle room in lining up the hole to the earring to close it.

They seem to be a very good quality.
But the quality and fit is perfect for me!
Because of how uncomfortable (and even painful at times) that hoop would get, i left it out for years.
My first pair i bought about 9 months ago but something caught on one of them, and it became unhinged and lost.
Competitiveness
This is actually my third time purchasing this exact same brand & the quality has been the same for each purchase.
I bought the other style hinge ring that have the hinge in the middle and i bought 8 mm and 18 gauge size and it was perfect.
I tried two other brands of hoops before these, and they irritated my ears and were very hard to close.
