Bamboo is softer and smoother than cotton too although it can become rough with repeated washing

The downside of course is that on heavy leaks they wont hold because the dont have plastic in the back

I also like the backing small leaks dont soak through when my son first started sleeping through the night i would sometimes have leaks big enough to get around but not through

I leaked so much with disposables as in they did not catch or absorb it all and have not leaked with these
