Eric carle's "the counting duck" is a favorite of mine. I buy books for all my grandchildren, and this is going to my newest grandchild. Now that my granson is due, i purchased this for the next generation.
Highlights
Quality
The words are easy to read and it is not too wordy for a young child to sit through like some other board books.
It gives good opportunities to talk about objects, manufacturing, people working in factories, shipping, and assorted animals.
The book bent and chipped on top
They screech every time they even see a duck.
