Pros

Rechargeable and doesn't drain as fast, these are perfect! It's nice to pull them out of a drawer and have them still have a charge too. I charge these batteries on a model v-6988 ni-cd & ni-mh battery charger.

Rechargeable 1500x (x = times / cycles). The plain white color of the sanyo eneloop is a plus point here. Tested with lacrosse smart charger!

I used them right out of the shipping box in both my camera and an off camera flash.

Packaging/appearance

They did not come in the original packaging which immediately made me wonder whether i had bought knock-offs.

I then asked if i could purchase a 10- or 8-pack case - to which he said he hadn't designed any but the 4-pack.

And not only that, they were the updated ones, as shown by the presence of a crown on the outer packaging.

My issue was that i purchased 3 of the "10-pack batteries w/ case".

Competitiveness

These are way better than other "name" brands.

I've also bought about a half dozen other brands and they have all fallen short of the sanyo eneloop.

We've been very dissapointed with top brand "ever ready" nimh which is "never ready" when you need it.

We own some of the other big battery manufacturer rechargeable batteries and they do not compare to these.
