There are a number of websites youtube videos etc dedicated to determining if a card is authentic or a counterfeit knockoff

Apparently one of the things to look for is a sort of raised relief on the back side of the card with some printed serial numbers on it

These cards do not have this feature which is one of the things that led to me to believe they were counterfeit
