Pros

Simple desing and easy to install. They work well so far as exhibited by my one in the kitchen when a frying dish caused so much smoke it set it off. Drywall anchors and matching screws are included with the detector.

I'm very pleased and would get another should the need arise. Thanks for a great product and quick delivery.

Cons

It is malfunctioning, beeping randomly and endlessly. The only option to get it to shut up is to permanently deactivate it. Once it is deactivated, it must be replaced.

This is unacceptable performance for something for which your lives rely. It was purchased one year ago and is supposed to last 10 years. More junk from china.

Couldn’t beat the price to meet certificate of occupancy requirements.

Obviously the 10 year battery life cand be verified at this point, but the price and quality make these a good buy.
