    Correct internal wire size for automotive and marine use see picture top one with bigger hole is what you purchase the lower one with the tiny hole is what was purchased at a big box home improvement store

    The big box store one proved not only not able to take the wires that you would expect it to plus they require a different custom ratcheting crimper then normally found in the auto trade

    I do not know if these have the expected dielectric properties and all that i do know they crimp fine wires do not pull out they insert well into connectors already on the vehicle and have not disconnected from what they have hooked up to and have withstood the 15 amp load
