It consistently draws 12a and the cord does not overheat or anything. No more worries about overheating a cord or outlet. K btu a/c that was getting hot at the plugs and warm on the cord.
Cons
End connectors are junk. Had to cut the connector off and fit a good quality one rated at 15 amps. Out of warranty.
