Ive had the index since it came out and my original controllers had some serious battery wear to the point that theyd die and when put on to charge the led would go white as if they were done

When installing be very carful removing the hot glue from the old connector try spraying it with some isopropyl alcohol

I had 4 controllers got a bit lazy with one and had to solder a whole new connector on
