Pros
Worked directly out of the box with my external monitor (dell u3821dw) that was plugged into my m1 macbook pro via usb-c. Useful for my dell xps 13 and dell ultrathin monitor. Plug and play.
Light is decent and works like a charm. Built in light is an added bonus for the winter mornings. Soft light to enhance your face.
Very well packaged. Nicely designed and constructed. Lovely finishing and packaging.
Cons
The picture quality is horrendous. The display is really unstable and blurry. The image flickers when my older webcam is fine and better.
Tecknet product is usually okay, and this one seemed reasonable at first. However the sound is a huge disappointment. The inbuilt mic is absolutely terrible.
Ok camera, microphone sounds like i am underwater. Absolutely useless webcam, it continuously drops off. Also the unit is constantly warm even when not in use which is disconcerting.

The video quality is adequate, not outstanding but it does well for the price.
Got this as an upgrade from my previous webcam, i was uprrised by the quality, and the added inbuilt light a decent and a nice addition.
However, i realized the sound quality was down when i recently recorded a presentation.
I spent ages looking at webcams, always reviews of someone saying it doesn't work or that the quality is terrible.

I've used the camera for over a year now for home working, using a windows pc and 900mbps download and /300mbps upload broadband.

The mic quality is ok i use a separate lavalier mic so it’s frankly not an important consideration for me

Sad that it didnt come with a way to attach to the screen but im sure ill find some way of getting it to work properly
