Purchased this because the screws were stuck in existing one works fine but didnt realize it didnt come with screws so ended up ordering those separately later

I originally used 12mm long m5 screws to screw my license plate to this bracket but the threads on the bracket arent that deep and the 12mm screws extended so far that it scratched my vehicle paint
