Pros

Sfp+ module works with ubiquiti udm-pro and provides me 2 rj45 wan ports now. Worked flawlessly with cat6a backbone. Bought this to have a 10gb uplink to the virtual server host in my home lab.

Now our home network is scorchingly fast. The price is great, and it’s working great. Great throughput. Is able do deliver 100/1000/2500/5000/10000mbps.

Cons

These modules have some connector issues where the rj45 male connectors do not always click into the female receptacle on the module. The one that works is the mikrotik s+rj10. These are not suitable for ubiquity equipment even though it claims to wor... Read More

Even at 60m with cat6a, 10g connection drops frequently. The uplink speed is a measly 82. Guessing that maybe the source of the slow speeds?

I received my order directly from china (less than a week), plugged them into sfp0 and sfp2 on my juniper ex switch.

Delivery was good, initial working was good just not reliable in my set up unfortunately.

This 10gtek sfp+ transceiver is appropriately negotiating it to 10gb on the udm side and 5gb on the at&t side.

I made the mistake of buying a 16 port dlink 10gbe switch thinking it was an absolute bargain compared to some other brands.
