Pros & Cons
Pros
Cab-10gsfp-p1m-30(cisco-1pc)(green)(ca) works flawlessly so far. Worked great with an intel sfp nic and my aruba 1930 instanton switch. Link 1g to 1g check. Connected to a cisco nexus switch and a cisco ucs server.
Bandwidth and transmission of data is upto speed. Cable works as expected, tested and achieves full connections speed. They run cold to slightly warm and you get 10gig speeds which is consistent.
Cons
It was supposed to link my ubiquity 24 ports switch to my unify dream machine pro router. The result, no link, no connection led.
Highlights
Quality
Gets 5 stars for actual build and quality.
These appear to be good quality (so far).
The cable didn't actually work for me, but not at all a fault with the cable.
Price
Saved me the cost of a new 26 port switch!
Shipping
If shipping time wasn't a constraint, i would have gotten a much cheaper cable from fs.
Competitiveness

This worked fine between a usw-aggregation and 10gtek x520-da1/x520-sr1 in a synology ds1821+.

A genuine hp cable costs over 20x what this cable cost me, and both the router and switch are limited to 1 gb speeds anyway, so... Read More

When i checked the logs on the switch there was a warning that a hotplug attempt had been made on one of the dualpersonality sfp ports with a nongenuinehp dac cable followed by an admonition to only use genuine hp products

A genuine hp cable costs over 20x what this cable cost me and both the router and switch are limited to 1 gb speeds anyway so i returned this cable and just used a 3foot cat5e to connect the two instead

This dac is probably fantastic but because of hps draconian business practices i wont ever know and have to waste one of my precious few ethernet ports on the hex
