Pros

Locking pins keep the stage of the telescoping arms from disconnecting. Most instructions show you how to do this on a flush surface, or drilling into concrete.

The casing is all metal (aluminum), very strong and well finished. Great for privacy, we have a hot tub and a sauna on our back patio. This gives us peace of mine from peeping toms.

I want to thank matt for not giving up and getting my issue resolved. This shade is exactly what i hoped it would be! Absolutely worth the money. Hopefully this is helpful.

Quality

This one is aluminum so very lightweight but still feels super sturdy!

Seems very sturdy, and will be a nice addition to block the sun or wind for our family gatherings!

I was screwing one of the bolts in and on about two turns, it broke wit the rest of the bolt in the concrete.

Worked well for a week or so, the pole broke in half from the wind.

Price

I think it’s a good price for what i got.

So spend the money on a good drill bit.

Shipping

After multiple emails back and forth of sending pictures had a few shipments show up wrong.

Several times, i got too few of those extra brackets and once i got a completely wrong shipment.

My only complaint is that there was an occasional disconnect between what i ordered and what the warehouse shipped.

Had a small issue with one awning contacted customer received very quick response .

Packaging/appearance

Packaged very well and easy to install.

Competitiveness

Don't use the bolt that comes with it, i found better alternatives at my local hardware store.
